Liza Doll
My love for teaching has brought me from the classroom, to the yoga mat, and into the world of tutoring. I taught in Flower Mound before kids and sadly left my 5th grade classroom behind when in just 18 months I had three beautiful daughters!
I never stopped teaching! Sunday school, tutoring, summer school, preschool P.E., and even started Yogi Kids in 2010, teaching kids yoga. My own kids had a chart for everything and had sight words plastered on every wall and door!
I love to teach, develop relationships with kids, and see kids develop a love of learning. I am so excited to offer this through KBC.
Casey Henslee
Hi! My name is Casey Henslee. This will be my 12th year teaching in Lewisville I.S.D. I taught Kindergarten for 6 years. This will be my 6th year teaching 2nd grade. I attended Lewisville I.S.D. schools for elementary, middle, and high school. I went to Texas Woman’s University. I earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in education and early childhood development.
Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I love getting to build positive relationships with students and their families while helping to foster each student's ability to learn. I live for the "lightbulb" moment!!

Ellen Slater
I am thrilled to be tutoring students for KBC! Teaching is actually a second career for me. I worked for many years as a journalist after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin- Hook ‘em Horns! I decided to become a teacher after working for two years as a para-professional at my children’s school, Old Settlers Elementary. I taught in Denton I.S.D., first as a special education inclusion teacher, and later as a First Grade and Kindergarten teacher.
I love the opportunity that tutoring gives me to work one-on-one or with small groups of children. I am excited to see all the progress students can make!
Bambi
Bambi taught school for 16 years. She taught kindergarten for 12 of those years. She enjoys watching children’s lightbulbs come on and believes in the importance of play as a foundational part of their learning path. Preschool Play allows her to continue to give the gift of “the love of learning” to children, through developmentally appropriate activities!
Bambi lives in Rhome, TX with her husband, Richi and son, Camden. She is a Coaches Wife and baseball players momma who finds being their #1 fan her greatest joy!
